August Already!

Summer is going by so fast!  I cant believe its almost the middle of August already!

Ryan just had his 30th birthday weekend.  We don't just do birthdays the two of us, we celebrate birthday weekends.  We had friends that took us floating down the Teton River and Ryan caught the biggest and littlest fish.  He sure loves to be on the river fishing!

Then for his big 30 bday weekend Ryan choose to go for his favorite day horse ride.  Ryan's dad came with us for his bday ride.  Below is a picture of Ryan on his actual birthday on his horse.

Here is a picture of my little colt Jaz.  She is still in the process of being broke.  Ryan's dad is helping her along.  She is doing so well I was able to ride her for a little bit.  I've never had my own horse, so I am so excited to start really riding her when our baby comes, which is crazy, but wont be much longer!

I only have 6 weeks till my due date....so give or take a couple weeks or days I will be able to meet my baby.  I am so excited for our new adventure!  We have girl names picked out, but Ryan and I cannot agree on any boy names.  If we have a boy, the poor little guy may leave the hospital without a name until we can agree on something.  The picture below is of me at 31 1/2 weeks pregnant.  My belly is definitely growing!  I'm just starting to get uncomfortable.

Here is a picture of me on Ryan's dad's mule Cabela.  She has been so good to me.

8 months!

Time sure does fly right by!  I am officially in my 8th month of pregnancy.  I am now 32 weeks along.  I am feeling great.  I have some back pain, but that is to be expected.  I'm getting so excited to meet our new baby boy/girl.  My mom has been wonderful and sending us new items for the baby.  Ryan has been putting them together and getting so excited.  It is so neat how the baby moves around in your tummy, its like an ocean wave at time moving back and forth.  My mom and aunt are coming here for my baby shower the first weekend of September.  I am so excited to see the both of them.

The pictures below are of us over the 4th of July weekend.  I am 28 weeks along here.  We attempted on going on a pack trip, but the mosquito's were so bad we packed up after our first night and headed out at 8am before Ryan even made his coffee.  We headed to a different place to camp and really enjoyed ourselves.  We took the dogs and horses on quite the memorable ride, but it was a lot of fun!

Memorial Day Weekend

I am now in my 6th month of pregnancy.  I can feel the baby move like crazy now.  I can poke at my belly and the baby will kick right back at me :)  The first picture below I am 22 weeks and the second picture I am 24 weeks along.

Ryan and I were going to go camping for the Memorial Day weekend, but the weather did not look to great.  We ended up having snow, rain, hail, and wind all weekend off and on.  Our local nursery was having a sell on plants so we bought a few shrubs (dogwoods) and Ryan planted them.

We did have a break in weather on Sat. afternoon for a little bit.  Ryan and I headed out for a little hike.  There are not many trails that don't have snow on them, but we found one.  It was great to be back in the mountains again without the snow.

Spring

Spring in Teton Valley.  The picture below is the beginning of April one of the few nice days we had during that month.  Ryan and I went for a cross country ski by our house.

The amount of precipitation we had here set an all time record for the month of April.  We just had storm after storm after storm.  We did have a very spring like Easter though, which was nice to be outside.  Its now toward the end of May and our trees still dont have leaves on them. Next week I will begin mowing my law, that makes me excited!

Earlier this month, Ryan and I escaped to sunny Arizona to see my family and some warm weather.  While we were there it was pretty windy, but it is always great to see my family!

Another Ultrasound

Last week Ryan and I went in for another ultrasound...the one where you "find out what you are having".  The ultrasound was so neat.  We were able to see the baby sucking and moving all around.  I was not aware that you can even see their little heart beating!  We did not find out what we are having.  We are excited for the surprise on delivery day!  The ultrasound tech did tell us that our baby is in the 78% for size weighing 1.1 lbs already.  Everything they measured told us that the baby is normal so far, which was wonderful to hear.

I am now 22 weeks along in my pregnancy.  Time sure does seem to fly right by.  My second trimester has been much better than my first.  I have been able to feel the baby moving around since 18 weeks or so and Ryan has been able to feel the baby at 20 weeks.  The little tyke is moving more and more and the kicks are getting stronger :)  it is the neatest thing.  After 20 weeks my belly has just popped!

Im half way there in this picture at 20 weeks.

Baby on the Way!

Ryan and I found out at the very end of January that the two of us are going to be parents.  We were both extremely excited, but decided to keep it kinda quiet till I was out of my first trimester.  Well, I am in my final week of my first trimester and the two of are amazed at how fast it is going by.  Last week we went to our first doctors appointment and had an ultrasound done.  I think it finally hit the two of us once we saw baby woolstenhulme!  We also were able to hear our baby's heartbeat.  It is such a neat experience.  Our official due date is Sept. 22.  The poor kid will be in hunting camp every year for its birthday :)  We have both decided to not find out our baby's gender till he/she is born.  We are going to have fun picking out names for both genders and guessing at what we are having.  Above is a picture of the little one.

Christmas XC Country Ski & Christmas Eve

Ryan and I went for a cross country ski on Christmas Day to enjoy the wonderful weather.  What a great way to spend Christmas.

Christmas Eve Britni and her family came up to her Dad's house and we all went for a sleigh ride.

Even Lane, Ryan's dad got in on the fun!

Britni and Ady right before she fell asleep.

Thanksgiving

I had the joy of my parents and brother coming to my house for Thanksgiving.  It was quite the drive for them, but they eventually made it!  I loved having them, wish they would come more.
